How are the laws of conservation of momentum and energy similar?
Here are the formulas:
Law of conservation of momentum:
P1 + P2= P1′ P2′
m1 v2 + m2 v2 = m1′ v1′ + m2′ v2′
Law of conservation of Energy:
KEi + PEi = KEf + PEf
I think that the energy can’t be created nor distroyed but it can be transformed from one form to another.
But is that the similarity???

Well they all state that energy is not created nor destroyed.

well. in both of the laws, they state that energy/momentum is never in any circumstance destroyed, they’re only transferred from one form/ object to another. Each side of the equations are equal.

They are both derived from Newton’s 2nd Law: F=ma.
Intigrating with respect to time F=ma becomes conservation of momentum. Integrating a second time yields conservation of energy.
