they have been screaming about energy since the 50s and 60s.. this isn’t not a new topic just a very old tired one.

Not quite accurate.
We tag people who want to use the might of government to force people to conserve according to the dictates of the environmentalists as leftists.
We fully believe that a free people living under a limited government should be free to choose to conserve on their own, according to their own decision.
You might want to note and ponder this:
President Bush, who believes the American people are smart enough to figure out how to conserve on their own, has a very energy efficient and environmentally friendly ranch, by his own choosing.
Al Gore, who is a global warming chicken-little who wants govenrment to dictate conservation to the people, lives in an energy in-efficient house and consumes excessive amounts of power. By his own choosing.
I’ll take the freedom of choice over the dictates of zealots any day. Ta!

Bush doesn’t think there is a problem, was just made aware that gas was $4.00 a gal. The BUSH/Republicans answer to everything is DRILL, DRILL, DRILL.
