    1. They are more likely to be able to supply all the electrical needs of their customers even during peak energy-use hours — like really hot times in the summer when everyone uses their air-conditioners too much.
    2. Better public image — can be seen as protecting the environment and our health, as well as saving their customers money.

    It’s important to them because gov’t policy may effect their industry. New regulations may cost them considerable money in infrastructure changes.

    Also, if conservation becomes a way of life for enough of their customers, it will radically change their business. A shift toward renewable energy or cutting back on energy consumption will have implications for the Energy companies.

    1 reduce heating cost
    2 uses Eletrical gas stoves
    3 gets Fiber glass instulation blown in attics from Professional company
    4 is Energy awareness by weather proofing all doors , windows
    ect !
