Do I Have Continual Fatigue Syndrome?

We all live in a very stressful environment, well most of us do. We are all struggling to make ends meet and are often worried about whether our subsequent pay cheque will be our last. All of this tension takes a truly big toll on the human body, whether you can see this or not. One of many side effects of this toll is that you may feel as though you’re suffering from constant fatigue syndrome. True constant fatigue syndrome is exceptional however.

Here are some things to look out for if you suspect that you might be struggling with constant fatigue syndrome:

Long-term fatigue

This specific symptom has to continue for more than six months. Any other feasible causes for example stress, bad diet or other illnesses have to be ruled out as being causes for this fatigue. A disease may cause a sense of fatigue as the body utilizes resources to battle the bacteria and viruses. If the fatigue continues for an extended period of time after the illness has gone, then constant fatigue may be indicated.

Focus and short term memory problems

Aggravated fatigue after physical exercise

It does not need to even be hard physical exercise. An action as easy as walking down the road may leave an individual suffering from constant fatigue drained for a day or two.

Rest does not help

It doesn’t matter just how much sleep a person with constant fatigue syndrome may get, they do not really feel refreshed.

Depression

This isn’t really a symptom, but rather a complication. When people aren’t able to do their jobs or handle what they normally did at home, they are able to start to get depressed which just aggravates the issue.

Other possible symptoms

The actual signs and symptoms in the above list aren’t the sole ones which constant fatigue syndrome might have. You may also suffer from headaches which are different to the ones you normally get. Parts of your muscles may ache and also your throat might hurt. You may also run a fever.

The greatest criteria for being identified as having constant fatigue syndrome is the fact that these signs and symptoms have to happen over a long period of time, generally 6 months, and also have to be present more often than not during this time period.

It is not easy to diagnose constant fatigue syndrome as it can masquerade as a number of other conditions and a number of other conditions may cause similar symptoms that will stop as soon as the condition clears up.
