Dorset Holiday Cottage Review
I recently came back from a two week holiday in Dorset. We had decided that rather than visiting the beach of the Costa Del Sol, we would keep some cash, take a chance on the UK’s weather conditions and drive to the stunning beaches of Bournemouth in Dorset. It seems as if I was not the only person because Bournemouth beach was crammed and with all the things the region has to provide, it is no surprise.
This was one of the reasons I made up one’s mind that my family unit and I would pay for a self catering holiday in a holiday cottage in Dorset rather than a hotel. This meant we could holiday in a house where we felt comfy and free to do what we want. It was as well a good base from which we would trip to the localised holidaymaker attractions easily. We were lucky enough that our holiday cottage was situated less then 30 minutes away from many of these attractions.
The English cottage we stayed in was close to a local public house which we regularly attended, where we struck up a friendship with the landlord. We found out from him that Dorset cottages were widely popular in the country and that he often met people such as us that rented them. If you are thinking of taking a Dorset holiday then I would recommend staying in holiday cottages in Dorset.
