In Arcola you can visit the Amish Interpretive Center Museum in Downtown Arcola which presents the heritage of the Amish through exhibits and artifacts. The Interpretive Center also provides guided tours of the Amish community and will arrange meals in an Amish home.
Idea #2: Family Fun at Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor. Great America Rides - Great America is known for its incredible thrill rides. You will find many more great rides in Great America as well. Hurricane Harbor Rides includes the Bugs Bunny National Park which has some great rides for the kids, including the Looney Tooter Train, and Yosemite Sam’s National Park Tour.
